Benefits from Minimalist Home
I might be able to last for some time about this, but I just list a few key benefits:
1. Less stress. Clutter is a form of visual disturbance, and everything in our vision of our attention at least a little. The less confusion, less visual stress we have. A soothing minimalist home.
2. More interesting. Think about the pictures of messy houses, and photos of minimalist homes. People with almost nothing in it except some beautiful furniture, some nice artwork, and very few pretty decorations, are the ones that appeal to most of us. You can make your home more attractive by making it more minimalist.
3. Easy to clean. Difficult to clean up a number of objects, or to sweep or vacuum around a bunch of furniture. The more items you have, the more you have to keep it clean, and the more complicated it is to clean out all the goods. Think about how easy it is to clean up the empty space than one with 50 objects in it. That’s an extreme example, of course, because I do not recommend you have an empty room, but it was only to illustrate the difference.[via]
